No one will ever notice a guy in primary colors with a big white star on his chest!Lo, it came to pass that Steve Rogers was resurrected, but Ed Brubaker didn't feel like giving him back the title of Captain America yet because he was having too much fun writing Bucky/Winter Soldier/James Barnes/You know, that guy in the role.

Short Subjects - Yea: Ultimate Adventures, Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon Nay: Grimrose Path, Patriot Witch

This past week I've come down with a dreadful and terminal case of unfunny. Everything has come out perfectly uncontroversial, utterly harmless and deadly boring. Rather than subject you to that, I've 86ed the lot and decided to review my targets all over again.

So now, for your amusement, a palette of short subjects, arranged by thumbs up or thumbs down, yea or nay.

Ultimate Adventures: One Tin Soldier by Ron Zimmerman and Duncan Fegredo (comic)

Now this is a comic that deserves more press, if there ever was one. Well, more good press. Generally reviled, personally, I think Ultimate Adventures is brilliant.

Basically, it's a gleeful swipe at the ever popular "orphaned rich man dresses funny and fights crime" genre, with every possible cliche of the type thrown into one plot

Justice League Generation Lost 6, Why hello there, filler issue.

NOOOO! My spotlight issue was pointless!Justice League: Generation Lost was conceived as a year long event comic. I can get behind that. It's a great way of seeing more of these characters than a mini, but telling a specific and defined story. The thing is, 26 issues was a number determined by the idea of a comic every other week, not the natural length of the story. And in this issue, wow, it shows.

If you're paying money for this comic and you aren't a completeist or an enormous Captain Atom fan, you can pretend there is no issue 6
